Captain’s guesthouse is located near the Fiscardo Harbour, Kefallonia’s northern historical port. The guesthouse and studios are in direct view with the hills of Ithaca from where the sunrise reflecting onto the deep blue Ionian sea, can be viewed from the veranda's vantage point every morning. Deriving it’s name from Robertus Wiscardus duke of Apulia and Calabria and founder of the kingdom of Sicily, Fiscardo’s history dates way back into ancient Greece through archeological finds inclusive of Roman era grave complexes and ancient theatres.
Fiscardo has kept its original architecture, granting it a picturesque appearance with cypress trees decorating its glassy blue-turquoise waters. Located across the bay is the byzantine basilica and Fiscardo’s venetian lighthouse.
Down the stone paved village path you will find tavernas, cafes, art shops and a supermarket in the case that you choose to cook in our equipped apartment studios, enjoying the view with a glass of wine at hand.
